Invermay
Invermay is an attractive Victorian villa just a mile from the town centre and 16 miles north of Perth on the Royal Road to Braemar.
The house has three spacious bedrooms (plus a study with a fold-down sofa bed that can serve as a fourth) and three modern bathrooms. It can sleep up to 6 adults and a couple of wee ones.
There's a sitting room (with a wood-burning stove and Sky TV), a large breakfasting kitchen and a separate dining room.
The house is surrounded by a lovely mature garden with a patio/barbecue area and a summerhouse. And there's a petanque court, an outdoor table tennis table and table football in the garage.
Blairgowrie
Blairgowrie is a friendly town where you'll quickly feel at home.
There are interesting, independent shops selling local produce and excellent local pubs and restaurants when you want eat out.
The countryside of North East Perthshire, with its mixture of rolling farmland and magnificent Highland scenery is on your doorstep, and the Fair City of Perth, Braemar, Pitlochry, Dunkeld and St Andrews are all within an hour's drive
There's plenty to keep you busy, too: walking & cycling on quiet roads and woodland trails; golf on two of Scotland's finest inland courses; some of Europe's best trout & salmon fishing; and Glenshee, the UK's largest ski resort, just 18 miles away.
There are comfortable couches and armchairs for 8 in the sitting room.
The wood-burning stove in the sitting room, comes with logs on the house.
There are televisions in both the sitting room (satellite) and the kitchen.
The sitting room TV has a Sky Q box, with Sky Sports & Movies, and a DVD player with its own film library.
There are CD players, radios and i-pod docking stations throughout the house, including plenty of streaming options.

The spacious breakfasting kitchen is well-equipped with dishwasher, blender, toaster, pots & pans, crockery, glassware, cook books - everything you'll need to cater for your own special dinner party.
The microwave is just one element of a fully-equipped, spacious dining kitchen.
If you fancy a coffee, there's a Nespresso machine (with free capsules), a cafetiere or even a kettle.
There is a chest freezer in the garage.
We'll put a pint of milk and a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge for your arrival, then leave it to you to stock up with great local produce.
There are three bathrooms; one with bath and separate shower; one with a shower only; and one with shower over the bath.
All three bathrooms are equipped with shaver points, as well as complimentary Highland Soap toiletries.

There's great walking in and around Blairgowrie - take a gentle stroll in the Bluebell Woods or tackle one of the 14 Munros around Glenshee.
Great cycling on quiet roads or off-road on way-marked woodland tracks. Bike hire is available a few hundred yards away from Invermay.
Blairgowrie Golf Club with its two championship courses, Rosemount & Lansdowne, and its charming Wee Course are just a mile from Invermay. St Andrews, Carnoustie & Gleneagles are all within an hour's drive.
There's top-class salmon & trout fishing on the Tay and its tributaries the Ericht and the Isla.
Glenshee, the UK's largest ski resort, is just 25 miles from Blairgowrie.
There's a swimming pool and a well-equipped gym just few hundred yards from Invermay.
Blairgowrie Tennis Club has all-weather, floodlit courts open all year and welcomes visitors on a pay and play basis.
