Glenshee Ski Centre

The Glenshee Ski Centre, 18 miles north of Blairgowrie, is the UK’s largest ski resort, with everything you would expect for both novice and advanced skiers and snowboarders, including tuition, equipment hire, refreshments and ski patrols.

Skiing

Spread over three valleys and four mountains, there are extensive nursery slopes for beginners; 26 varied blue and red runs for intermediates (from wide open pistes through bumps & jumps to a slalom race track); and a couple of black runs – including the formidable, mogul-strewn Tiger – for the expert.

Snowboarding

From Dink Dink for absolute beginners to the steepest runs in Scotland (Glaos Maol, Carn Aosda) for experienced adrenalin junkies and from the natural 1/4 pipes of Butchart's Coire to Cairnwell's dedicated alpine area, Glenshee has something for every type and level of snowboarder.

Ski Touring

When the snow line comes further down the glen, there are excellent touring opportunities along Forestry Commission roads or Glen Isla’s waymarked trails.

Invermay provides excellent drying facilities and secure storage for skis and other equipment.
